Eastlogue are based in South Korea and their inspiration comes from traditional vintage garments intended for outdoor activities. Their goal is to produce highly functional garments inspired by the past but with a modern silhouette, creating garments that will become modern classics and that will be wearable for years to come.

When it comes to the history of the down puffer jacket it all begun back in 1936, when Eddie Bauer, the name behind the legendary outdoor apparel brand, introduced the Skyliner jacket. The jacket was made of down feathers within quilted fabric and was an invention that mr Bauer came up with after nearly losing his life to hypothermia during a mid winter fishing trip. Ever since, the down puffer jacket has proven to be the best protection against extreme cold weather. The combination of a light weight jacket, a durable windproof shell fabric and the insulation quality of down makes the jacket superb as protective outerwear in cold climates.

This jacket has four front pockets. The two chest pockets are so-called "hand warmer pockets" and partly lined with a cord fabric, and the two large lower pockets are also partly lined with cord fabric and the flap can be buttoned tight or loose depending on what you store in them. The jacket also has two inner pockets that can be closed with zippers. At the front of the jacket the two-ways Riri zipper is covered with a flap that buttons up to prevent cold winds from getting at you

The jacket can be tightened around the waist by pulling the drawstrings and tying them up, and the same goes for the hood that also can be tightened if needed in extremely cold weather. At the end of the cuffs there's knitted so-called storm cuffs that will keep your wrists warm and keep the cold winds from entering through the sleeves.
