Tender is a one man brand based in England and the founder William Kroll continues to make beautiful clothes inspired by the history of durable workwear with a contemporary style.
What we like about the aesthetics of Tender is that the appearance may look simple at first, but William is always adding smart and interesting details to the garments, combined with interesting textiles that feel great to wear. As far as possible all products are produced in England, from the weaving of the fabrics to cutting and sewing.
The Yoke Pocket Shirt is named after the construction with it's two large front pockets that stretches their way over the shoulders and ends at the yoke, serving as large functional front pockets while also reinforcing the shoulder of the shirt at the same time.
The fabricis a 100% cotton Unfinished Molleton, a broken twill fabric that is woven very densely. The fabric has been deeply dyed in indigo but still has a white core in the yarn which will be visible when the indigo starts to fades with time and lots of wear just like a pair of blue jeans. The garment has been washed to prevent it from shrinkage and this also makes the indigo come to life! In some places it has already started to get some wear and fades from the washing process. The thickness of the fabric combined with the timeless construction of the shirt will make it great to wear as a thinner jackets during the warmer season of the year and for the winter it will be a perfect layering garment to get some extra heat.
