Vintage Deck Pants used by the American navy in the 50s, designed to protect their wearer against cold winds as well as the cold sea. The pants was intended to be worn with the classic USN deck jacket and it's made of the same durable fabric, a Bedford cord better known as "Jungle cloth". The pants are fully lined with a wool fabric to add an extra layer of warmth. The suspenders can be adjusted for a correct fit, and the straps at the feet openings can be tightened to make sure that the cold wind doesn't get through.
The front zipper is covered with buttons, a detail which protects the zipper from getting wet and damaged by the salty sea. It will also make sure that the wind doesn't get through the zipper.
These pants are vintage and have been worn. The traces of use adds a great patina that only can be achieved from years of usage, and over all the pants are in great condition for their age. The inside the wool lining has a nicely done repair across the crotch.
