Warehouse is part of the "Osaka Five", the five denim manufacturers that came to build the foundation of the modern scene of raw denim. Warehouse started their production back in 1995 and are today best known for making some of the finest vintage replica garments in the world. According to them, the key to make vintage inspired clothing is to use vintage machines and traditional techniques without compromising on quality.

In a time when jeans was becoming more and more popular in Japan the youth were looking for original vintage jeans made in USA back in the 40s 50s. They were looking to get that genuine style associated with the hey days of denim. In the 80's Levi's made decisions that came to lower the quality and durability that denim became known for and when original vintage garments became harder to find a new era for Japanese denim was born. Five brands became known as the "Osaka five" and Warehouse was one of those brands. 

All these brands was influenced by the most iconic pair of blue jeans ever made namely the Levi's 501 from 1947. One can argue that blue jeans reached its perfection during this time and these jeans are a homage to that time. A tribute to the best jeans ever made and Warehouse has captured the look and feeling of a pair of vintage jeans in the 900xx Slim Jeans. combining vintage details with a contemporary fit. The ecru denim is unbleached and one can still se traces of the cotton seeds in the fabric. A detail that makes the fabric look more alive and since they are not chalky white, they will not look dirty as quickly. 

Please note that these jeans run small in size. Johan had to go up two sizes from his usual fit, make sure to see all measurements in the size chart below. The jeans are pre-washed and will not shrink when washed. You can expect them to expand slightly when you wear them. Due to the nature of the fabric these jeans have a strong leg-twist, just as the original vintage jeans back in the days. Warehouse uses right hand denim just like Levi's did and that makes the legs twist in the right direction.
