Tender is a one man brand based in England and the founder William Kroll continues to make beautiful clothes inspired by the history of durable workwear with a contemporary style.

What we appreciate when it comes to the aesthetics of Tender is that the appearance may look simple at first, but William is always adding smart and interesting details to the garments, combined with interesting textiles that feel great to wear. As far as possible all products are produced in England, from the weaving of the fabrics to cutting and sewing.

This wonderful sweater is all made in Scotland. The Purl Edge Astronaut Neck Pullover is knitted in a plain stitch, then the cuffs, hem, and neck edge are turned back on themselves showing the reverse ‘purl’ stitch. The high, wide, neck has a full hem at the top edge, which pulls it down from the face, and helps collapse the fabric onto the shoulders.

The heavy gauge soft woollen Donegal yarn is spun in County Donegal, Ireland. Donegal yarns are usually woven, rather than knitted, and are famous for their random flecks of contrasting coloured fibre spun into the main shade, a style which developed over centuries of home-spinning.

Douglas is 180 cm long with a weight of 84 kilos and wears size 3.
