Eastlogue are based in South Korea and their inspiration comes from traditional vintage garments intended for outdoor activities. Their goal is to produce highly functional garments inspired by the past but with a modern silhouette, creating garments that will become modern classics and that will be wearable for years to come.

This jacket is Eastlogue's version of the iconic Dispatch Riders Coat, the rubberized cotton overcoat worn by the British military bikers during WWII. The coat was a key garment for being able to ride a motorcycle no matter how bad the weather was. This kind of garment has became an icon when it comes to trench-coats and is known for it's wide collar, the slanted map pocket located on the chest where the angle and the shape was designed to be easy to access with the right hand when the wearers left hand was occupied and the triangular leather reinforcements located in the corners of the lower front pockets. The belt can be used to secure the fit and it's buckled in two places. The buckles are covered in leather just as they were on the original vintage coats. The wide collar is easy to wear folded up and if you button it with the chinch around your chin it will provide a great protection against cold winds. On the inside of the coat there are straps that can be fastened around the wearers legs in order to keep the coat in place when worn in stormy weather.

The shell fabric is a tightly woven olive-colored cotton twill that resembles a ventile fabric because it is close to water resistant but still breathable. The jacket also comes with a detachable liner jacket that will add an extra layer of warmth.
