On October the 4th in 1957 the Soviet Union launched Sputnik 1, the first artificial satellite. The world watched the sky with shock and intrigue. The Space Race had officially begun! For this season Levis Vintage Clothing payed tribute to the thrill seekers and space explorers who made their dreams a reality in Rocket City.
These pants are a reproduction af a pair of traditional 1950s slacks and with their high waist, wide legs and fabric of cotton/linen they are a great pair of pants for a dressed up and still casual look, and they sure feel great to wear as well. There are two back pockets, one of which can be buttoned, and a chinch in the back that can be used to adjust the width of the pants. Two front pockets and a small pocket just below the waist band for coins complete the set-up.
