This Army coat was made in Sweden by Skinnarland and we estimate that it's from the WW2 era, made out of black horsehide leather that is thick but still pliable. The jacket is made to provide its wearer with warmth and protection, fully lined with a grey wool blanket and a stand-up shearling collar that is large enough keep the neck warm and can be buttoned using the chinstrap to keep it in an upright position.
The front of the jacket is double breasted and can be buttoned in both directions depending on direction of the wind or the wearer's preference, and the two layers will also keep the chest area warm.
This is an original vintage jacket but the condition is good for it's age. On the back there are two cuts in the leather that has been mended, looking like two scars now thet tells us that this vintage coat has been around for quite som years. At the front of the jacket just next to the left pocket the leather has a surface damage in the size of a coin were the black has worn off showing the brown color of the hide. See the pictures for more information.
