The Sugar Cane Wabash Short Sleeve Work Shirt finds it's inspiration in classic American workwear from the early 20'th century. Combining the functionality of vintage work shirts and the durability of a twill cotton wabash dot fabric but in a contemporary way all makes this a perfect summer shirt.

The fabric is a white twill printed with black dots. The dots had the practical function of making the garments wearer stand out in a crowd or against a background, making garments made of Stifel fabric a favorite amongst laborers and railroad workers. This might also be the reason why dotted fabric was commonly used in making clothing for children!

The shirt has two chest pockets, a chin strap and mother of pear buttons. At the inside on the botom front you will also find a so-called "union ticket". These tickets served as a label used by different clothing manufactures to prove that these garments were made according to the governmental standards back in the days. Today, Union tickets are added as a nice hommage to the American workwear culture.
