Vintage Wrangler Blue Bell 1950's 11MJ Blanket Lined Denim Jacket Size 42

This is a Vintage Wrangler Blue Bell 11MJ Blanket Lined Denim Jacket in size 42 from the 50's. 

Wrangler was founded as a sub brand to the work wear brand Blu Bell in 1947 and has been the go-to brand for authentic cowboys ever since. As you can see from this jacket, it has been loved and well used with a patina that can only be achieved by decades of use. It has been repaired in some places but will eventually need more mendings so that it can be used for some more decades. 

The jacket has all the typical period details such as action back, W seam on the pockets and elastic bands in the waist, altho not so elastic any more. Unfortunately, the logo in the neck has fallen off, but there is no doubt about the jacket's age.

A great jacket that is almost 60 years old and a nice part of denim history.

All measurements are in centimeters and measured on a flat surface. Width is measured straight across the chest from armpit to armpit, length is measured at the back of the garment from the neck down and the sleeve length is measured on the underarm from the armpit to the end of the cuff.
