NASA Apollo 17 Mission Patch Red
Apollo 17 is also known as the final mission of the NASA Apollo program and the last mission were Humans traveled to and walked on the moon. The rocket was launched at night on December the 7 in 1972 and carried a three man crew consisting of Commander Eugene Cernan, Command Module Pilot Ronald Evans, and Lunar Module Pilot Harrison Schmitt. The end of the mission and the landing took place in the south pacific ocean on December the 19 in 1972.
