Vintage Deck Jacket used by the American navy in the 70s and it is designed to protect it's wearer against cold winds as well as the cold sea. There's two front pockets and one chest pocket with adjustable straps on the side of the jacket, and the jacket is also lined for extra heat. The so-called "storm cuffs" made of knitted wool are hidden underneath the sleeve to prevent the wind from getting in. These cuffs are in bad condition and show traces of being worn for a long time (see picture). The front zipper is also covered with buttons, a detail which protects the zipper from getting wet and damaged by the salty sea. It will also make sure that the wind doesn't get trough the zipper.
The jacket is vintage and has been worn a lot. The traces of use adds a great patina that only can be achieved from years of usage, and over all the jacket is in good shape for it's age and will last for years to come.
