The H. W Dog & Co is a headwear manufacturer located in Japan. Their inspiration comes from traditional headwear from different eras and the result is garments made in a contemporary style focusing on quality, functionality and long lasting styles that hopefully will stand the test of time.
This classic fedora hat is considered the premium hat from H. W. Dog and it is all hand made in Japan. The hat is made of a sturdy beaver wool felt that has been steamed and shaped by hand into a classic fedora style hat. The brim measures 80 mm and the edge is decorated with a ribbon, and the inside of the hat features a leather band with foil embossed logos. The inside is also lined with a beautiful silk fabric that has the H. W. Dog logo printed on it.
Just as the name suggests, this hat is made too look like and to feel like a vintage hat and the shape of it as well as the felt used has a somewhat vintage look of it. In other words, it looks like a hat that has been around for some time even if it is brand new! We really appreciate that it has some irregularity to its shape, because that shows us that the hat is hand shaped rather than molded using a machine.
