The Japanese brand Buzz Rickson's are today counted among the few high-end reproduction manufacturers of military and casual garments in the world! They strive to make true replicas by carefully researching and analyzing original vintage garments, taking great care to duplicate the material while paying close attention to technique and quality with the goal to bring back old forgotten techniques and machines needed to make garments of outstanding quality without compromises.
This is Buzz Rickson's version of the CWU liner, this quilted liner jacket was intended to be worn with the CWU flight jacket from the early 60's. The CWU was a light weight jacket and if combined with the liner it could withstand some colder degrees. Even if the jacket was intended to be worn as a liner the design from the 60's had a chest pocket making it popular to wear as a jacket on it's own. Buzz Rickson's has changed on their version compared to the original. They have added hand warmer pockets, making it even more functional as a jacket and the material is cotton instead of nylon as it was back in the days. Johan is 173 cm tall with a weigh of 67 kilos and wears a size S.
