Banks is the name of Indigofera's version of a so-called type 3 denim jacket, named for being the third generation of denim jackets produced by Levi's. The design is synonymous with the chest pockets with pocket flaps that are fastened underneath the yoke and the two seams that run straight across the pockets all the way down to the lower end of the jacket. The design was actually originally developed Lee back in 1943, but back then there were pleats placed where Levi's placed the seams.
On later versions this design allowed the jacket to be constructed with a better fit due to the fact that the front of the jacket is made of a total number of eight pieces that makes up the shape and with the four pieces that shapes the back the new era of fitted denim jackets was born.
What makes Banks stand out from most other typ-3 jackets made today is the total of six pockets that will make it functional to wear and carry all you daily necessaries. There are two chest pockets, two lower hand-warmer pockets and on the inside you find two large inner pockets.
