Dollard is a shirt made by the Swedish brand Indigofera. The inspiration behind the shirt comes from classic western wear with details such as saw-tooth pocket flaps and snap buttons.
The legend says that the snap button was first used on shirts worn by bull stock riders. A regular button and buttonhole could become a deadly trap if the rider fell off and got stuck with the shirt in the horns of the raging bull. The idea of the snap button is that is would unfasten quickly, allowing for easy escape from both shirt and bull!
This version is made out of supersoft cotton flannel with a woven checked pattern. The color combination is a great mixture of earthly colors. Isn't it just a pleasure for the eye?
