The Hawthorne jacket from Indigofera is inspired by winter coats from the early 20th century with a large shaw collar made of sheep skin and a total of four front pockets. All of them are lined with wool to make sure that they will warm your hands in the best way during the cold winter days. On the inside there is also two inner pockets. The edges of the pockets and the end of the cuffs are reinforced with leather to ad durability. The buttons are made of corozo nut, known for its durability and has a long history of being used to make buttons. At the waist the width of the jacket can be adjusted using the belt to make sure that it fits tightly when the cold winds blow.

The cord fabric is known for it's distinctive pattern where the cords, also known as wales, form a striped pattern. The fabric is considered a strong and durable fabric and has roots back to ancient Egypt, and became popular during the middle of the 1900's as the cloth for the working classes, being both practical and economical.
