Those are the last jackets produced with a capital E on the red tab, referring to the so called big E era. The jacket is made in Hong Kong which is written on the label in the neck. This is a detail which we have not seen too often. As we understand it, it could be that Levis manufactured products outside the United States for a market that was not domestic.
