Since 2005 OrSlow has made clothes in Japan that are inspired by vintage garments. Rather than straight reproductions, they focus on interpreting the past through a modern lens with emphasis on quality construction, comfort and timeless style.
This garment is the result of what you get when you mix a traditional Japanese kimono with the sturdiness of an indigo dyed 2/1 twill fabric that makes one think of work garments made in the USA back in the middle of the last century. The best thing with this kind of garment is that the size will be perfect to wear for most people so no matter if you change in size the kimono will still fit you and we can just imagine how beautiful this garment will become after being used for decades!
The fabric is a 3 x 1 indigo dyed linen twill that looks just amazing and is a simple pleasure to touch and to wear.

All measurements are in centimeters and measured on a flat surface. Width is measured straight across the chest from armpit to armpit, length is measured at the back of the garment from the neck down and the sleeve length is measured on the underarm from the armpit to the end of the cuff.
