Since 2005 OrSlow has made clothes in Japan that are inspired by vintage garments. Rather than straight reproductions, they focus on interpreting the past through a modern lens with emphasis on quality construction, comfort and timeless style.
These jeans are inspired by the 60's, a time when bootcut jeans were growing in popularity. With a standard height of the waist, tight fit around the legs and wide leg openings these jeans are more or less made in the same style and fabric as back in the 60's. Even if OrSlow brands these as a women's fit we think they look equally good worn by men who appreciate a genuine 1960s / 70s style as well!
These jeans have been washed once, which brings out a bright indigo color and also makes sure that they won't shrink when you wash them at home. Hemming is always included when you purchase a pair of jeans from us! Give us a comment during check out and we will shorten them before we send them. Keep in mind that you won't be able to return the jeans if we alter the length for you.
For hemming, we'll use a vintage Union Special chain stitch sewing machine, to match the original seam of the jeans.
