Back in 2016 Eat Dust teamed up together with the legendary British leather jacket manufacturer Lewis Leathers! The result was this version of the classic Lewis model Racing Jacket No. 442 introduced back in 1973 and synonymous with short collars and the padded shoulders and elbows. The Eat Dust version has a added zipper on the right sleeve and the paddings have been stitched with another kind of quilt stitching.
Lewis Leather's have been making jackets in England from their foundation until this day, and they sure deserve their good reputation when it comes to timeless, top quality clothing.
The Super Monza jacket first appeared in 1978 and quickly became an icon in the motorcycle world. With it's striking diamond-stitched leather panels over the shoulders and the elbows that provide extra strength. It has two adjustable straps on either side allowing you to adjust the fit around the waist. There's snug-fitting zipped cuffs, velours-lined collar with a sturdy two-position snap button. Heavy duty zips are used throughout the jacket and wrapover windproof front has a leather flap behind the diagonal main that will keep the winds at bay. On warmer days the flaps can be held open by a sturdy snap button on either side. The jacket has that beautiful diamond-stitched quilted red liner with one innerpocket.
This is a secondhand jacket but the condition is just great without visible damage. Just broken in that makes the leather soft in a perfect way.
