Made with D'Artisan's original recipe for looming denim fabric, with every detail carefully considered to maximize the characteristics of GL3, including the unevenness of the yarn, the yarn count, the rope dyeing color, and the number of threads in both the vertical and horizontal directions. GL3 is the name of one of there legendary looms, built half a century ago and one of Japan's earliest power shuttle looms, as there are no replacement parts for these around, the only way to maintain them it is to retrieve and replace parts from discarded machines of the same model. Maintenance is time-consuming to say the least, and the GL3 is an inefficient loom with todays standards \u003cstrong\u003ethat can only weave five meters per hour\u003c\/strong\u003e.
