Sugar Cane & Co. Model 2014 Slim Tapered One Wash Jeans
Sugar Cane & Co
Sugar Cane is a Japanese brand focusing on reconstructing the early days of vintage workwear history. The brand has roots that goes back to the 1950's but it wasn't until the late 80's that Sugar Cane started building the reputation for being one of the best denim makers in Japan. It is a reputation they still deserve!
This fit is called 2014 and it is Sugar Cane's way of creating a pair of contemporary jeans inspired by the history of denim. The fabric and the construction is made in the same way as jeans were made in the middle of the last century but the fit is intended to be worn by those who prefer a slimmer silhouette and a lower waist compared to the fashion from the middle of the last century.
This version is made of a Japanese pink-line 12 oz denim that has been washed once, so you don't need to worry about shrinkage when you wash them for the first time and when worn for years they will look almost identical with a pair of vintage, well worn jeans!
Johan is 173 cm tall, weigh 67 kilos and wears a size W30.
Hemming is always included when you purchase a pair of jeans from us! Give us a comment during check out and we will shorten them before we send them. Keep in mind that you won't be able to return the jeans if we alter the length for you.
For hemming, we'll use a vintage Union Special chain stitch sewing machine, to match the original seam of the jeans.
