Vintage 1968 US Army Ripstop Tropical Short Sleeved Jacket Size: Small Short

This is a Vintage original US Army Ripstop Tropical Short Sleeved Jacket from the Vietnam war era in 1968. The fabric is a durable Ripstop cotton poplin fabric. The thin cotton was ideal to wear in order to withstand the tropical climate in warmer regions.

The jacket has four large front pockets that are generously shaped in order to store plenty of necessities. The two chest pockets are slanted which makes them easier to reach into, a detail that's commonly used on garments where the wearer might be occupied with one hand and is often seen on military garments and motorcycle jackets.

The jacket is in top condition for it's age. The breathable ripstop cotton fabric makes this a perfect shirt/jacket to wear during hikes and other summer adventures.

All measurements are in centimeters and measured on a flat surface. Width is measured straight across the chest from armpit to armpit, length is measured at the back of the garment from the neck down and the sleeve length is measured on the underarm from the armpit to the end of the cuff.
