Wrangler was created as a sub brand to the work ware company Blue Bell in 1947. The big name designer in western clothing Rodeo Ben was commissioned to create modern clothing for the modern cowboy in post-war America. The brand turned out to be a success and today it is still the leading brand when it comes to western style jeans in the southern parts of the United States!
We estimate this beautiful vintage jacket to have its origin in the 60/70s and it is made of a white colored corduroy. The style is a so called type 3 jacket and we have to say that this style of jacket looks just perfect worn with a pair of straight fit classic jeans and topped of with a western style hat! The condition of the jacket is good, the only noticeable thing is that someone have repaired the end of the cuffs, it is nicely done using an over lock machine. In the back there is a small piece of the fabric that's not folded under the seam, (see picture).
The fit of this jacket is of its time with a wide and short fit that looks perfect with a high waist pant.
