Warehouse is part of the "Osaka Five", the five denim manufacturers that came to build the foundation of the modern scene of raw denim. Warehouse started their production back in 1995 and are today best known for making some of the finest vintage replica garments in the world. According to them, the key to make vintage inspired clothing is to use vintage machines and traditional techniques without compromising on quality.
These pants from Warehouse are inspired by a classic cotton chino worn by the US Army in the 40s. When it comes to the cut nothing is changed from the original for all we know and with a hight waist and wide legs these pants are super comfortable to wear. Originally these pant were made of a green cotton fabric but Warehouse has chosen to make a pair in indigo blue denim and we are looking forward to see how they will look after some use! The pants have buttons for suspenders, loops for long johns and can be tightened in the leg opening. This is an original detail and it sure is convenient if you need to tuck them into a pair of boots! In these days it is a perfect detail when riding a bicycle which will prevent the legs from getting caught in the chain!
The pants are unwashed and will shrink during first wash. Expect them to shrink roughly 2 cm in the waist and 5 cm in the length.
