Buzz Rickson's Overcoat Short Wool M - 1926

The Japanese brand Buzz Rickson's are today counted among the few high-end reproduction manufacturers of military and casual garments in the world! As the name suggests, the short wool overcoat became standard issue within the US army in 1926. The design is similar to the so called  Mackinaw coat that was a popular outdoor jacket in the 20/30s. The heavy wool will keep you warm in cold weather even when wet. The double breasted front will keep the chest warm and prevent the cold wind from entering. The large shawl collar kan easily be raised to add a wind protection for the neck and the belt in the waist will help to keep it in place.

Buzz Rickson's has carefully reproduced this garment according to the original ones from the middle of the last century and it is a pleasure to see that this kind of high quality wool garment still can be produced in modern times.
