Collection: Rocky Mountain Featherbed

This is a true icon when it comes to the history of functional outdoor clothes. The Rocky Mountain Featherbed vest was originally made back in the 1960's and the idea was to take the traditional western style garments and combine them with the new technical materials to make outdoor garments for a new era to be worn by lovers of the great outdoors.

The original Rocky Mountain brand made their last garments in the mid to late eighties and we are happy that the Japanese manufacturer 35 Summers Co. gave new life to the brand in 2005. As with so many Japanese brands, they cherish the history and carefully manufacture these to be as close as possible to the vintage once. We even dare to say that these ones are even more well made than the originals.
