The establishment of a five day working week and an eight hour working day in America in the mid 20th century led to the need for clothing which enabled the fullest possible enjoyment of such increased leisure time, and was designed accordingly. This style of clothes came to be known as Sportswear! This is Style Eyes version of a classic 40's leisure shirt, with straight cut length and a boxy fit. The shape of the collar along with the loop at the top button hole are all typical details of that time period.
The shirt is made of a printed cotton corduroy quality and both the pattern and the texture are made to feel like and look like vintage garments from the middle of the last century.
