Sugar Cane & Co Headlight x Fiction Romance NOS 7oz 1/2" Indigo Stripe Work Pants

Sugar Cane is a Japanese brand focusing on reconstructing the early days of vintage workwear history. The brand has roots that goes back to the 1950's but it wasn't until the late 80's that Sugar Cane started building the reputation for being one of the best denim makers in Japan. It is a well earned reputation they still deserve!

With this piece, Sugar Cane & Co brings back a true iconic garment produced by the notorious and legendary American work wear manufacturer known as Headlight. The brand was founded in the 19th century and remained in business up until the 60s but are still today known for manufacturing some of the finest work wear garments, mainly associated with railroad workers. 

The pants are a classic work pant made in a most beautiful NOS stripe fabric given to Sugar Cane by Mister Freedom. It's a 7oz 100% cotton fabric in a stripe pattern where the dark stripes are indigo dyed which result in most wonderful patina over time. Wash and wear these pants for years and you'll have a most beautiful pair for everyday use. Just like a work pant should be, these got plenty of pockets. Three on the front, two on the back and a ruler pocket on the side that's split in two making room for both ruler and screwdriver. Last but not least there's a hammer loop attached on the left back pocket. All in all a perfect pant for every worker out there!
