Since 2005 OrSlow has made clothes in Japan that are inspired by vintage garments. Rather than straight reproductions, they focus on interpreting the past through a modern lens with emphasis on quality construction, comfort and timeless style.

This kind of jacket can be referred to as a "chore jacket" or "loco jacket" and the model was commonly used for work wear in the early 20th century. The style of jacket has survived up until today due to it's functional design; a great jacket with large and spacious  pockets!

OrSlow's version is inspired by traditional garments and intended to be used in a contemporary way. What we really like about the design is the slightly playfulness that comes with the soft curved pockets and an interesting wide and short cut.

The fabric is a white 10 oz supple denim with a good, strong feel to it and the garment is light enough to be worn as a layering piece. Combined with OrSlow's Two Tuck Kinari Denim Wide Pants one can wear it like a dressed down summer suite. Perfect for weddings or why not combine it with a straw hat and an ice cream in the hand during the warm summer days.

Johan is 173 cm tall, weigh 67 kilos and wears a size 1.
