Sugar Cane & Co. 1966 Model 14oz Denim

The 1966 fit made by Sugar Cane finds its inspiration in the iconic Levi's 501 as they looked back in the 60s. Like many other brands, Sugar Cane started making their reproductions back in the late 80s when the vintage original jeans were becoming harder and harder to find and the newly produced jeans of the time was no where near the quality of original vintage jeans. Today we are happy that these makers kept making jeans in traditional style using top quality denim, and if you are looking for a pair of jeans that never will be out of style these Sugar Cane jeans is a perfect choice! 

This version is made of a Japanese pink-line 14 oz denim that has been washed once. You don't have to worry about shrinkage when you wash them for the first time and when worn for years they will look almost identical with a pair of vintage, well worn mid 20th century jeans!

When it comes to sizing, these jeans run slightly bigger than the other fits from Sugar Cane. Going down one size is recommended but check the measurements below to see which size is right for you.

Hemming is always included when you purchase a pair of jeans from us! Give us a comment when you place your order and we will shorten them before we send them. Keep in mind that you won't be able to return the jeans if we alter the length for you.

For hemming, we'll use a vintage Union Special chain stitch sewing machine, to match the original seam of the jeans.
