Second Hand TCB Jeans 20's Denim Jacket One Wash Size 38

This is a second hand TCB Jeans 20's Denim Jacket in Size 38(?). It looks like it says 38 on the leather label, but it´s really hard to tell. The jacket has been washed and (just like original Type 1 Levi's) the natural veg tanned leather label has shrunk a lot from warm washing.

This is TCB's version of a classic so called Type 1 denim jacket. The Type 1 dates back to the early 1900's and it came in several versions The first time it came with a pocket flap was in 1928, and given that TCB´s version is called 20s make us think that this is their version of the Levi's Type 1 from 1928.

TCB makes their version out of a 12,5 oz cotton denim fabric, recreated to resemble the original vintage material as close as possible. When it comes to jeans jackets it is a clear advantage if the fabric is not as thick as it can be in a pair of jeans, as a thicker material will be harder to move in and when it comes to the wear resistance it will still be difficult to wear out a denim jacket.

This jacket has details such as the pleated front, the folds that goes along the buttoning giving the jacket which gives a little stretch if the jacket is worn snugly. It also has a cinch on the lower back that can be used to adjust the width of the waist band. TCB makes their version similar to the originals, but with slight changes to make the piece more modern

This jacket is second hand and has been used for some time. It has started to fade and has developed a beautiful patina. By looking at the leather patch one can tell that the jacket has shrunk from washing. But the jacket has loads of years left of good use. Please read our measurements to ensure a good fit.

All measurements are in centimeters and measured on a flat surface. Width is measured straight across the chest from armpit to armpit, length is measured at the back of the garment from the neck down and the sleeve length is measured on the underarm from the armpit to the end of the cuff.
