Papa Nui is a small cap making brand that's built around the love of things with utility! Mixing military, surfing and a big spoon of vintage clothing is the inspiration that goes behind these products!
This is a pair of Sunglasses made by Papa Nui, the style is influenced by 1940's USN Aviator Style Sunglasses. But these are made with contemporary premium materials.
Most interesting are the CR-39 lenses. This material was first used in B-17 Aircrafts. The material is light and shatterproof. This decrease in weight made it possible for the aircrafts to obtain a longer range. This material is lighter than glass and yet scratch resistant. On top of that they offer very good vision in bad conditions and they protect you from harmful ultra violet and infrared rays. The color of the lenses is green.
The glasses are handmade out of contemporary premium acetate in Japan. This version is semi opaque and has a USN N3B Yellow color.
Each par of glasses comes with a recycled Army Canvas Case and a Sock made out of recycled Frog Camo.
