Momotaro MMJE6500 #400 Wide Kyotomontsuki Dyed Jeans Black One Wash

Momotaro has recently undergone a rebranding, taking a more cleaner look and to us, stronger Japanese aesthetics. We are very happy to now stock some of their newest items.

The #400 Standard Wide fit is a straight wide fit, that sits at the waist, they have a relaxed fit through out and they are gently tapered below the knees.

This version comes in Kyotomontsuki Dyed black selvedge fabric. Kyoto Montsuki is a dye house that has over 100 years of history. Their speciality is Montsuki dye, which is used for black ceremonial wear. They use their Shinkuro Deep Black Dying technique. This gives a exceptionally dark black hue.

Hemming is always included when you purchase a pair of jeans from us! Give us a comment during check out and we will shorten them before we send them. Keep in mind that you won't be able to return the jeans if we alter the length for you.

For hemming, we'll use a vintage Union Special chain stitch sewing machine, to match the original seam of the jeans.

Douglas is 180 cm tall, weigh 85 kilos and wears a size 32.

All measurements are in centimeters and measured on a flat surface. The thigh measurements are taken 10 centimeters down from the crotch straight across the pant leg.
