Since 2005 OrSlow has made clothes in Japan that are inspired by vintage garments. Rather than straight reproductions, they focus on interpreting the past through a modern lens with emphasis on quality construction, comfort and timeless style.

This kind of jacket can be referred to as a "chore jacket" or "loco jacket" and the model was commonly used for work wear in the early 20th century. The style of jacket has survived up until today due to it's functional design; a great jacket with plenty of pockets!

OrSlow's version
is inspired by the traditional garments and intended to be used in a contemporary way. The design is slightly playful with soft curved pockets and an interesting cut that gives a hint of a classically tailored jacket. The side seams are placed on the backside of the garment and so are the seams of the sleeves, resulting in a clean look.

The fabric is a supple denim with a good, strong feel to it and the garment is light enough to be worn as a layering piece. The indigo dyed yarn will also age in the most beautiful way the more it gets worn!

Johan is 173 cm tall, weighs 67 kg and wears a size 1.
