Sailor Moku Products Lot No. SM42524 10oz. White Cotton Duck Work Pants

Sailor Moku Products is a sub brand of Sugar Cane & Co, a Japanese brand well known for their focus on reconstructing the early days of vintage workwear history. The brand has roots that goes back to the 1950's but it wasn't until the late 80's that Sugar Cane started building the reputation for being one of the best denim makers in Japan and it is a reputation they still deserve!

These pants are made out of a 10 oz 100% white cotton duck fabric, they are similar in design to the classic fatigue pants.  Meaning two front pockets attached to the outside of the leg, similar rear pockets and side adjusters. However they come with beautiful metall buttons. The White color is natural white, meaning not crisp white like snow.

When the Japanese people first came to Hawaii, many of them started working for The Hilo Railroad company. During this time, many of the local workwear factories and tailors produced a lot of military clothes. They used this knowledge to produce garments for The Hilo Railroad company. These pants are inspired by those workwear pants, with a heritage in military clothes.

All measurements are in centimeters and measured on a flat surface. The front rise is measured from the center of the crotch to the top of the bib. The thigh measurements are taken 10 centimeters down from the crotch straight across the pant leg. The front rise is measured from the center of the crouch to the top of the apron.
