This is a second hand jacket produced in Scotland by the well known leather jacket  manufacturer Aero Leathers. This is the 1930's Half Belt model in brown Horsehide leather and it has a wool liner.

This jacket is made of a genuine horsehide, a material known for it's high quality and for being one of the leather materials that will age best with time and wear. Even if the jacket has been used for years the patina is just great, and one could argue that this kind of jacket actually just looks better after being used, when the leather starts to be broken in and show traces of being loved and worn.

The general condition of this jacket is good and it will last for many more years. The patina looks really good and the leather has softened a bit since new. Horsehide tends to feel quite tough to wear at the beginning and it takes time for it to soften. This jacket's wool liner has started to fray at the lower parts. Please see images for better understanding. The jacket is of course wearable in this condition, however we would recommend letting an expert take care of this in the future.
