TCB Jeans 30's Black One Wash

TCB is a Japanese brand inspired by fits and materials from the past and they strive to reproduce those iconic garments as closely as possible.

This pair of jeans are inspired by late 1930's Levis's 501's right before Levi's made the 501 as we know it today. It's got the old school workwear details such as the visible crotch rivet and chinch back but also the more modern details such as hidden back pocket rivets and belt loops. The suspender buttons had been removed at this point which is an important move towards how a five pocket jean looks today.

These jeans are playing around with history a bit as black denim weren't around in the 1930's. The black jean was introduced by the king himself in the 1950's. Elvis rocked a pair of black Levi's in the box office hit "Jailhouse Rock" and the rest is rock n' roll history. This black denim fabric is dyed with sulphur. When worn and washed, it will fade from black to grey resulting in a most beautiful patina over time.

TCB produces their garments in their own factory and a combination of great knowledge when it comes to vintage garments and a collection of old vintage machines makes this pair of jeans great in every detail.

The jeans are pre-washed so they wont shrink when washed. You can expect them to expand slightly when you wear them. Due to the nature of the fabric all these jeans has a strong leg twist just as the original vintage jeans back in the days. TCB uses right hand denim just as Levis and that makes the legs twist in the right direction. 

Hemming is always included when you purchase a pair of jeans from us! Give us a comment during check out and we will shorten them before we send them. Keep in mind that you won't be able to return the jeans if we alter the length for you.

For hemming, we'll use a vintage Union Special chain stitch sewing machine, to match the original seam of the jeans.

All measurements are in centimeters and measured on a flat surface. The thigh measurements are taken 10 centimeters down from the crotch straight across the pant leg.
