CTH Ericson Nils Johan Vega Motor Cap Green Stripes
The Swedish hat and cap company CTH Ericson is a company with a rich history. The CTH Ericson hat and cap factory started up in the Swedish town of Borlänge in 1885 by Carl Theodor Ericson. Mr. Ericson was a fourth generation hat maker and when he passed on in 1927, his son Nils carried on with the family business.
The business flourished and the factory grew bigger in 1943. The number of workers peaked at 230 workers in the 50's and the factory was the biggest supplier of work for women in Borlänge at the time. Nowadays the company is still family owned and makes a selection of their best products in the old factory in Borlänge.
We are happy to supply this classic Vega Cap, made in the old factory in Borlänge. The crown is made of a heavy green stripes patterned wool fabric and will keep your head warm but also allow it to breathe. The fabric is a very limited vintage one. Details are made of fine leather material and the brim has a matte finish.
If you are not sure what size to go with, grab a measuring tape and measure horizontally around the head from the middle of the forehead, where your head is widest. Do not tighten the measuring tape too hard. If you get a measurement between two whole centimeters, round up to the higher measurement.
