The N3B Parka was issued in the US Airforce in 1958 with the description "for aircrew members in extremely cold environments." The jacket is a 3/4 length parka with four pockets, outer layer of cotton/nylon twill, insulated with and lined with polyester. This garment is also known as the "Snorkel Parka", because the hood can be zipped up leaving only a small opening and the idea is that the exhaled air will heat up the inhaled air slightly as they pass each other in the tube formed by the hood.

This N-3B parka is vintage. Unfortunately it doesn't have a tag left but we estimate it to have been made in the 70s and that the size is a Small. But please see our measurements below to get a better estimate of the size. It has been used but it's in amazing condition for its age without any visible damage. The jacket has also been decorated with reflectors to make the wearer more visible. These can be easily removed if desired.
