This is Lone Wolf Leathers version of a classic messenger bag. The design is a homage to the 1940’s version of the Bona Allen Tanning Company US Mail bag. It is handmade and the material used is a beautiful veg tanned black harness leather. A leather that has been induced with extra oils & waxes. The harness leather’s extra oils & waxes give the leather a ”weatherproofed” effect. The leather is produced by the Swedish tannery Tärnsjö, known today for making some of the finest leathers in the world! Tärnsjö is one of few tanneries in northern Europe that still produces sustainable environmentally friendly veg tanned leather.

The Lone Wolf Leather Messenger/Mail Bag is handmade and hand stitched utilizing the proven saddle stitching technique. In other words no machines are used. Besides the full size main pocket this bag has one large front pocket (W 28 cm, H 19 cm) and one identical sized inner pocket that will keep iPads, wallets etc organized. Stitched on to the front of the inner pocket you’ll also find two extra smaller cell phone size pockets along with a pen keeper. A brass D-ring is riveted inside the bag for fastening your keys or other valuables. To give the solid brass buckles a more natural look all lacquer has been removed. The buckles will therefore age nicely and add to the patina of the bag. All points of stress are hand stitched and reinforced with copper rivets, these have been carefully sanded by hand to remove the otherwise sharp edges to ensure that the bag does not damage other garments when worn. The bag has a serial numbered buffalo nickel and a braid attached to a brass D-ring on the side of the bag.
