Buzz Rickson's BR42585 Trousers Herringbone Twill Frog Skin Camo

The Japanese brand Buzz Rickson's are today counted among the few high-end reproduction manufacturers of military and casual garments in the world! They strive to make true replicas by carefully researching and analyzing original vintage garments, taking great care to duplicate the material while paying close attention to technique and quality. Their goal is to bring back old forgotten techniques and machines needed to make garments of outstanding quality without compromises.

These pants from Buzz Rickson's are a reproduction of the "frog skin" pants that were issued to the US Marine Corp during WWII, with the unique camo pattern developed for a jungle type environment. Originally, they were designed to be multi functional and could be worn reversed with the so called "beach" side out, which is in the same pattern but in sandy brown colors.

Buzz Rickson's have carefully reproduced these according to the originals with all the wartime specifications. Made of sturdy quality herring bone twill, also called "HBT" cotton fabric with all the correct and authentic details. The pants have two cargo pockets one on each side. These have the anti-gas protection fabric behind the fly known as a gas flap just as the originals. The knees are reinforced with double fabric for extra durability and the cuffs have tabs for adjustment.
