Papa Nui is a small cap making brand that's built around the love of things with utility! Mixing military, surfing and a big spoon of vintage clothing is the inspiration that goes behind these products!

The Hell Cat cap celebrates 10 years in the making! It was the very first cap that Papa Nui produced with John Lofgren.

The Papa Nui Cap Co. Hell Cat Cap Frog Skin Camo. This is a late 1940's Aviator Style cap. Made out of 4 panels HBT twill frog skin camo fabric. It is crafted by John Lofgren Boot Maker in Japan.

"Frogskin" camo pattern that was used by the US Marine Corp during WWII, this unique camo pattern was developed for a jungle environment and is printed with two different patterns on each side of the fabric so garments made with it could be reversed inside out to meet the demands of troops in the field. The side used on the outside of this cap is known as the "Jungle" side that is a green hue and the inside features a "Beach" sandy color scheme. While it's utility as camouflage in the urban jungle is questionable perhaps, it does stand out as an interesting detail paying homage to the history of the fabric!
