Second Hand Freewheelers Exclusive M1943 Jacket Navy

Freewheelers is a brand established in 2009. They seek to reproduce the clothing that helped built America. With great attention to detail and a vast knowledge about vintage clothing they sure make garments made to last.

This is Freewheelers interpretation of a classic M-43 liner. The original jacket was created as a lining for the M-43 field jacket that was introduced to the US Army in 1943. The lining was intended to provide extra warmth thanks to it's wool pile fabric but also function as a jacket on its own.

This jacket is second hand but in good condition. The only notable is that some small parts of the wool pile lining has been worn down on the inside (see picture).

All measurements are in centimeters and measured on a flat surface. Width is measured straight across the chest from armpit to armpit, length is measured at the back of the garment from the neck down and the sleeve length is measured on the underarm from the armpit to the end of the cuff.
