TCB Jeans Womens Norma Selvedge Jeans One Wash

TCB is a Japanese brand inspired by fits and materials from the past and they strive to reproduce those iconic garments as closely as possible.

These jeans are inspired by the one of the very first fits made for women back in the 50's, originally known as 701 and made by Levi's. We actually have an original vintage pair as a part of archive and if you are interested to learn more about these great jeans you can read all about them in our journal!

The name Norma comes from Norma Jeane Baker, more commonly known as Marilyn Monroe. She wore the 701 model like no-one else, often pairing it with a white shirt for a casual yet feminine look.

The best thing about these jeans great is that they are shaped to follow the curves of a female body and with their high waist, straight legs and washed 11 oz all cotton selvedge fabric they will be comfortable to wear on your everyday adventures. As mentioned, they have been washed once to ensure that they won't shrink any more. The fabric has quite a lot of give, so even if we don't usually recommend buying jeans in a tight fit and allowing them to stretch out that is, however, our advise in this case. 

TCB produces their garment in there own factory and the combination of great knowledge when it comes to vintage garment and a collection of old vintage machines makes these a great pair of jeans in every detail and it will be hard to tell the difference between a vintage pair of jeans and these ones if you compare them in details. 

Please note: TCB are undergoing a changing of their patch so at the moment we have both the new and the old in stock (pictured is the old). If it is important for you to know what patch will be on the size you order please contact us in advance and we will let you know.  

Hemming is always included when you purchase a pair of jeans from us! Give us a comment during check out and we will shorten them before we send them. Keep in mind that you won't be able to return the jeans if we alter the length for you.

For hemming, we'll use a vintage Union Special chain stitch sewing machine, to match the original seam of the jeans.

All measurements are in centimeters and measured on a flat surface. The thigh measurements are taken 10 centimeters down from the crotch straight across the pant leg. The hips is measured straight across the pants at the widest point of the hip.
