Miriam Parkman is a hand weaver and textile artist based in Stockholm, Sweden. The High Coast collection is created together with her, based on a mutual appreciation for the magnificence of nature and knowledge of craft.
Indigofera have long been appreciated for their fine, functional and durable shirts. Cliffs & Moss is the first ladies version of their flannel shirt! It is made of the same nice and soft flannel used in the men's versions but cut and sewn to fit a woman's body. The shirt has two chest pockets, and the smart shape of the pocket and pocket flap makes it possible to reach inside them with one finger even though the pocket is closed. The shirt also has details made of corduroy fabric and there are reinforcements behind the pocket flaps to strengthen points that may be worn.
The legend says that the snap button was first used on shirts worn by bull stock riders, where a regular button and buttonhole could become a deadly trap if the rider fell off and got stuck with the shirt in the horns of the raging bull. The idea of the snap button is that is would unfasten quickly, allowing for easy escape from both shirt and bull!
Miriam is wearing a size small and measures 160 cm long, chest 90 cm, waist 68 cm and hips 111 cm.
