Vintage Lee Riders 101-LJ jacket. This model was introduced by Lee in 1949 and has become one of the most iconic denim jackets made up until this day! The Storm Rider is more or less a lined version of the 101J that was first made by the company in 1948. To make a warmer version, they lined it with a horse blanket and the upper part of the collar was replaced with Manchester fabric, which would be nicer and warmer than denim.
This jacket was made in the late 60s, based on the color of the lining and the embroidered storm rides patch in the neck.
This jacket started out as an unwashed dark blue one. Since this jacket is second hand and been worn a lot it has achieved a look that only can be achieved by years of usage.
The jacket is in good condition for its age. Both cuffs on the arms are a little frayed and one button on each of the waist adjusters are missing. All in all a great jacket with many years of usage left in it. - Original Vintage Lee Storm Rider 101-LJ Jacket - Size 40 - Blanket lined - Embroidered storm rides patch - Made in USA
