Pallet Life Story finds it's inspiration in classic workwear and sportswear but rather than straight reproductions they have focused on making contemporary garments based on a playful mindset.
This jacket is best described as a reinvented classical work garment! The material is a heavy cotton one wash denim that is durable and will look it's best when worn for a long time, showing traces of the person who wore it.
Made from an outstanding fabric, this jacket is designed with a lot of functional details to make it wearable in your everyday life, such as the raglan shoulder followed by a tailored cut of the sleeve that allows for freedom to move. The jacket has a total number of eight pockets, six on the front, one inner pocket and a lower back pocket. The chest pocket is cut to make it easy to access with your left hand when wearing the jacket and on the chest pocket there is a smaller pocket which is perfect to store a pen, brush or to hang ones glasses on. The two large lower front pockets has flaps on them and hidden behind them are two hand-warmer pockets. The pocket on the lower back is cut to make it easy to access with your right hand when wearing the jacket.
Three of the center front buttons are covered by a panel when buttoned, giving the jacket a cleaner look while also making it easier to wear a shoulder bag without the risk of the strap getting caught on the buttons.
The leather patch on these jackets are each individual and made by splashing color onto the leather, similar to a Jackson Pollock painting. It's also a detail that makes each garment unique!
