Yesterday we organized our very first Vintage & Denim flea market! The idea for the market came after the Denimhang that we hosted together with our friend Pål (@swedenimhangs) earlier this year.
We wanted to create a meeting place for people who share our love for vintage and second hand garments and we know that many of you have great wardrobes. We also know that in most peoples wardrobe there are a few gems that just don't get to see the amount of wear that they deserve, so we though, why not give them a second chance? We placed ten labels on the yard right next to our store and told people that everyone was welcome to bring their garments to sell or trade. Frankly we did'nt know what to expect but we were stunned to see the turn up!
To make room for all of you we had to bring out all the furniture and blankets that we could spare from the store and even that was not quite enough. We are so grateful for your kind understanding and for helping us to make the best possible event with our limited resources!
Thanks to Mark (@wornovertime) for visiting us once again and for bringing your amazing collection of vintage jewelry to our store for the fourth time! In a way you are bringing a piece of the California vintage scene to Sweden and that is always appreciated, as it makes it easier for us who don't travel to the western parts of north America very often :)
Also a big thanks to Brisket & Friends that showed up at the event and served us the most amazing Texas style BBQ food! With short notice they decided to park their food truck at the flea market to make sure that all the hungry visitors got something to eat.
Now lets make plans for the next Vintage & Denim flea for spring 2020! :)
